About us

 

God called my husband and I into the ministry in November 2009. God's message to us was clear feed them spiritually as well as physically we are located at 309 Lancaster Street in Marietta, OH. Our food pantry is dedicated to God and run solely on donations. We are a nonprofit 501.(c) (3) organization.

 

If we receive assistance from any distribution centers that put food in the local food pantry's, we would be prevented from offering people Gods precious and Holy Word. We stay totally away from that. Praise God we live in a community that wants to help those that are in need.

 

We have had several people who had come to know God through the food pantry, that is the power of God. We at Gospel Mission Food Pantry learn a different definition of walk by faith and not by sight every day that we are at the food pantry. We rely solely on God to provide food and clothing to those that are in need.

 

If anyone comes to Gospel Mission food pantry, no matter what we are doing, we stop and gladly help them. Our food pantry does not limit the number of times that someone can come to the food pantry door, nor is it limited to people in the Marietta area. We have never had a problem with someone coming in and grabbing things just to get them.

 

Our food pantry is run only under God, by Jeff and me. There is no board. It is worth every step we take to do our fathers will through the Gospel Mission Food Pantry.

 

When we have a new face come in we offer them a Bible. If they say yes we would like to have one, we gladly give them one. If they say no thank you, we say that's fine and continue to help them with their need. We give God the glory and honor through the eyes of the food pantry.

 

It means a lot to share with people what God has and continues to do through the Gospel Mission Food Pantry.
